Our training is to the new National Standard introduced in 2004.

Traditionally, cycle training has only been available to children in certain schools where the local authority has managed to recruit volunteers; not always possible and not always cyclists (would you want a non-driver to teach you to drive?).
There is rarely any follow-up.
This is now all changing.
We support the local authority scheme in Hampshire where it is available, and provide an additional resource to those beyond primary school level or who wish to have more tailored training to the recognised National Standards.

Today, training can be geared for anyone; from schools and individuals, to businesses and community organisations, either on a group or a one-to-one basis.
Whether you wish to brush up on existing skills, are returning to cycling after a period of absence or wish your children to learn about safe cycling on the road, we can provide the right level of training, advice and support.

Please contact us for tailored courses held at times and places to suit you.

Each Training Course follows the principles of safe cycling through various skill levels as well as including an element of fun.
A national certificate will be awarded on completion.

The training scheme is officially approved by:
DfT, the Department for Transport;
CTC, the UK's National Cyclists' Organisation;
ROSPA, Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents;
LARSOA, Local Authority Road Safety Officers Association,
and other bodies.

The instructor will be a competent practising cyclist, CRB police checked, have Public Liability Insurance and be trained in First Aid.
