Carbisdale - Lairg - Altnaharra - Tongue

49 miles, (938 total) 27th August

No ghosts but excrutiating pain in big toe!!! Don't laugh. Shut up. I said don't laugh!!!

Took the new bridge bolted onto the side of the railway bridge to save the 10 mile detour - sheesh I hate heights - was I scared. Minor road past Falls of Shin to Lairg - found Surgery and got some treatment. Diagnosis was not enough red wine. I reckon it was not enough real ale.

Fantastic road through desolate moorland and mountains to Tongue on the north coast. An 'A' road but passing places only.
Stopped for a welcome brew up. We're right at the top of Britain.

Vertigo, moorland and KJ drums-up on top of Great Britain
